Payment and confirmation of
payment

To secure your admission to the event, you need to buy a ticket in advance. A reservation alone does not entitle you to enter the party. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation or a purchase.

1. Payment and Ticket
  • 1.1 Once your payment has been authorised, the Website will display a confirmation-screen showing the payment details and you will be able to download the ticket that grants admission to the event.
  • 1.2 The ticket with QR code is also automatically emailed to your address.
  • 1.3 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed uses an external provider for the payment transaction. No payment or personal information is stored other than the information mentioned in the privacy statement.
  • 1.4 The Event is organised by Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed, p/a Leeuwenburg 62, 2994EL Barendrecht (Chamber of Commerce reg. no. 87397676), bestuur@8biterfgoed.nl.
2. Payment Issues
  • 2.1 If you experience any technical difficulties with the payment process you can contact Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed at: payments@8biterfgoed.nl.
3. Payment Terms
  • 3.1 Payment will be done in euros.
  • 3.2 Transaction costs are included in the ticketprice.
  • 3.3 Where payment has not been made by the time of the Event the reservation will be cancelled.
4. Payment Security
  • 4.1 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed is not liable for payment transactions on this website. This is all managed externally by our payment service provider Mollie B.V.
  • 4.2 If any payment issues occur, please refer to Payment Issues above.
  • 4.3 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed does not store your payment details, see our privacy policy for details.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
  • 5.1 We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your ticket. If you do so at least 5 days before the event, we will issue a full refund minus a 20 euro cancellation fee. This fee helps us cover the costs we have already incurred for the event.
    However, if you cancel within 120 hours of the event, we will not be able to refund your ticket as we have already committed to the venue and other expenses.
  • 5.2 Once merchandise has been purchased, it cannot be refunded or returned. Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed will not provide any refunds on merchandise sold regardless of the circumstances. The reason is that the production of merchandise require upfront costs that cannot be recouped.
  • 5.3 No reimbursements will be made for travel, accommodation outside the venue or any other costs incurred by you in connection with the Event which you do not attend or cancel.
6. Changes or Cancellations of Events
  • 6.1 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed reserves the right to make changes to the Event, such as location, date or time schedule, and will notify you of any changes as they occur. Cancellation terms apply as stated above.
  • 6.2 Should Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed need to cancel or postpone the event due to reasons within its control, Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed will refund your ticket fee or transfer the booking to another date or Event.
  • 6.3 No reimbursements will be made for travel, accommodation outside the venue or any other costs incurred by you in connection with the canceled Event.
7. Force Majeure
  • 7.1 If the Event is abandoned, cancelled or suspended in whole or in part by reason of war, fire, national emergency, epidemic, labour dispute, strike, lock-out, civil disturbance, inevitable accident, the non-availability of the venue or any other cause not within the control of Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed, Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed may at their entire discretion, refund you or part thereof, but shall be under no obligation to do so. Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed shall be under no liability to you in respect of any actions, claims, losses (including consequential losses), costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by you, as the result of the happening of such an Event.
8. Limitation
  • 8.1 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed shall not under any circumstances be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for loss of revenues or opportunities, goodwill, reputation or any type of special, indirect or consequential loss even if such loss was reasonably foreseeable or Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed had been advised of the possibility of you incurring the same.
  • 8.2 Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed shall have no liability for any death or bodily injury (except death or injury caused by the negligence of Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed, its staff or contractors), or loss of or damage to property, of anyone attending the Event pursuant to the Booking, whether arising from such attendance, or in relation to the provision or use of the facilities at the Event. That you agree to indemnify Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed against any claim in respect of any such liability (and the costs and expenses incurred by Stichting 8-bit Erfgoed in relation thereto).
